BCLT Celebrates Earth Day w/ Alpine Beer Company!
San Diego Earth Fair in Balboa Park Every year in April, 75,000 people descend on Balboa Park for San Diego's Earth Fair event. BCLT was there again this year with our booth displaying our amazing Back Country conservation lands, from Alpine to Potrero.
This year, one of our local businesses and partners, Alpine Beer Company, generously donated a $25 gift card and t-shirt for a fun raffle drawing at our EarthFair booth! Thank you so much to everyone at Alpine Beer Co. for helping out, and for making such delicious food & beverages!
Congratulations to Tom & Mara, our Earth Day raffle prize winners! We hope you'll enjoy the great outdoors along with your gifts from Alpine Beer Company...

1st Saturday Nature Walk - THIS Weekend, 5/4
Don't miss this 1st Saturday Nature Walk on Geology, with Dr. Patrick Williams, Ph.D. Take a journey back in time 80-100 million years ago when Wright's Field was a river flowing out of the ancient Laguna Mts. This was the most popular walk of 2012 for good reason. If you missed it last year, here's your chance!
Hope to see you out at the Field!
